This media shelf is exactly what we needed. It holds all of our Dvds, Blu-rays and video games with room to spare. It's entertaining for being an engineered wood shelf. The espresso is dark and true to the photo. It is a great increasing to our living room. Though large it is unimposing, being not too deep. I would extremely recommend it for whatever seeing to store immense amounts of media with a few extra knickknacks. This is indubitably the best and least expensive shelf I've seen out there.
The assembly took a dinky while, but was not difficult in the slightest. If you've ever put whatever together before you'll be fine. We used a hammer and cordless drill for much of the installation. From there the shelves go in with wooden pegs as are tasteless in other shelving units or self assembly desks. This allows you freedom to move nearby the shelves as many times as you want after assembly. The two vertical partitions are stationary and cannot be changed as they furnish maintain for the unit. There is also one stationary horizontal partition at the mid-point of the unit for the same purpose.
